About THiS!
When God blessed me with life! The U.S. Air Force provided me with dog tags as an Air Force dependent, my identity under my father! (1955) All in 18 years we, my siblings traveled to dad’s stateside assignments to the world and lived in England, and Japan. My father’s plan was to show this family the world, and know who we are in it, as a Nation and as Black Americans! He did an outstanding job. 1972 he retired after serving 20 years!
About 14 months later I joined The Army delayed entry program so that I could finish high school.
I finished my 20 years in the U.S. Army retired 1994. Three tours to Western Germany, one tour to Korea. Three children, all with their mothers.
Now re-married, retired, disabled, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather! Just another reason! When I teach them ThiS! Then they will not have to do that! So, I am Coming off the bench!

To reach and wrap our arms around, You, I and ourselves in THiS place. Seriously! For where we stand today, we will return to lay! For we were given THiS day, to get up and come ThiS way, to see THiS on THiS day!
